Police allege $1K worth of alcohol wiped from LCBO shelf, surveillance reveals suspect

Roughly $1,000 worth of alcohol was reportedly wiped from an LCBO shelf in Meaford.

On Wednesday, Grey Bruce OPP responded to a theft complaint at the local LCBO. Officials say an unknown man entered the business and allegedly snagged over $1,000 worth of alcohol.

Surveillance footage from the store revealed the identity of the suspect. The footage shows a man just under 6-feet tall, wearing red Puma shoes, jeans, a red Buffalo Sabres toque, a grey jacket and a black hoodie.

Police say he has a triangular shaped tattoo on the left side of his neck.

OPP confirmed that the man left the store in a Dodge Charger with the license plate DCCD100. Police allege he is a suspect in other LCBO thefts around the province.

Grey Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information to come forward or if you see the vehicle to call 1-888-310-1122.
