Ottawa Police are investigating a homicide in Barrhaven after a man was found dead Friday night.
Police say they were called to the area of Pondhollow Way and Golflinks Drive, near the Stonebridge Golf Course, around 5:15 p.m.
A 58-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s not clear where the victim was found and police are not identifying him. Pondhollow Way was closed to vehicles as the Forensics Unit was at the scene late into the evening.
Police say no arrests have been made and they don’t believe there is a risk to public safety.
The Homicide unit is investigating.
